ABOUT 

I began working as a mental health worker for non-profit organization and 2005, and in 2011, I was offered the position to be the manager of a new mental wellness centre in Mission, B.C. This is when my mindfulness journey began, and from that point on mindfulness has been the core of how I support my own wellness and those who I have the blessing to walk alongside. 

 

Mindfulness is a extremely powerful practice for evoking change, transformation, and nurturing a deeper sense of wellbeing within the trials and tribulations of

modern day life.

 

Therefore, in 2015, I choose to leave my ten plus years of service at Communitas Supportive Care Society behind to embark on offering this practice more widely to aid in optimum mental, emotional and physical health.

I am wholeheartedly committed to exploring the very fabric of my being in the effort to free mind from the unnecessary suffering so I can be of service to myself, others and ultimately, this world.

Professional Training

I am certified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through the University of Massachusetts, Medical School, Centre for Mindfulness, along advanced training in MBSR through University of San Diego, Centre for Mindfulness. I am a certified Mental Health worker through Douglas College, with over 15 years supporting individuals mental health and well-being. As well as, a certified 300 hour yoga teacher. Specialized in 'Trauma Sensitive' yoga.
