Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program

Founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an evidence-based secular (nonreligious) intensive mindfulness meditation training program. Since the beginning, MBSR has been at the forefront of scientific research revealing that those who practice mindfulness-based practices experience an enhanced sense of well-being within the challenges faced in everyday life.

Online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Group Program / 20 pp maximum

MBSR is your program if you are ready to explore mindfulness as a way to access a deeper sense of well-being within the challenges of everyday life. Explore new ways to work with common life struggles such as; stress, anxiety, irritability, low mood, rumination, chronic pain, demanding workload, unhealthy habits, poor sleep quality, lack of focus, decreased motivation, challenging relationships,  and lack of time for self-care.

Format

  • Learn six (6) mindfulness meditation practices for stress reduction; including mindful movement

  • Explore introspective mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness and discovery 

  • Each class consists of experiential practice, self-reflection, and dialogue

  • Home practices are encouraged each week to support the integration of the mindfulness into daily life

  • Weekly 'Mindful Check In' emails are sent to support the deepening of one's own practice

Ten (10) sessions

1 x 75 minute orientation + 8 x 2.5 hours sessions + 1 full day x 8 hours

Refund Policy

Refund Policy: A refund will be issued if cancellation happens up to one week prior to the orientation session. If cancellation occurs after the orientation session and/or the first session the following is options are available;

  • an opportunity to take the group MBSR Program again the next time it is offered.
  • private sessions based on the amount that was spent/used OR put amount spent towards upgrading to an individual MBSR Program
