MBSR PROGRAM

 

Founded by  Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is the most highly researched and evidence-based secular (nonreligious) mindfulness meditation training program in the world today! The MBSR Program is appropriate for those experiencing stress in a broad range of areas or those who are simply looking to experience a new way of being.

Participants will learn compassionate ways of relating to the body, emotions and challenging mental states.

Format

  • Each sessions consists of experiential learning, self-reflection, and dialogue / discussions

  • Learn six (6) mindfulness meditation practices for stress reduction; including mindful movement and the science behind those techniques

  • Explore introspective mindfulness practices designed to enhance self-awareness and discovery 

  • Engage in home practices to facilitate mindfulness into everyday life

  • Additional support available in between sessions

  • Receive weekly 'check in' emails 

Ten (10) sessions

1 x 75 minute orientation + 8 x 2.5 hours sessions + 1 full day x 7.5 hours​

Refund Policy

A full refund will be issued if cancellation happens up to one week prior to the orientation session. If cancellation occurs after the orientation session or after the first session the following is options are available;

  • the opportunity to take the MBSR Program the next time it is offered

  • a partial refund
