The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program for Teens & Families

Developed by Gina Beigle in 2004, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T) program is an adaptation of the established 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program for adults, initiated by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. It offers mindfulness training incorporating psychology, practical tools, and techniques suitable for today's adolescents. The program is beneficial for individuals aged 12 and above seeking to acquire essential life skills such as stress management, emotional regulation, confidence-building, and fostering a healthier mindset. It serves as a tailored life skills training program tailored to the contemporary needs of young individuals.
