half-day retreats
Experience a few hours of true self-care by taking part in a half-day mindfulness meditation retreat.
The themes of these retreats centre around nurturing and enhancing our innate capacity to be aware, alert, attentive and open to our present experience. Otherwise known as mindfulness. By cultivating mindfulness, we also cultivate wholesome qualities such as acceptance, compassion, kindness, patience and generosity. These virtues then help us to navigate our inner and outer world with more understanding and ease.
During the retreat, participants will be guided through a variety of mindfulness meditation techniques, including breath and body awareness, walking meditation, and loving-kindness and compassion-based practices. These practices encourage self-discovery and learning.
retreat fees:
Ensuring inclusivity for everyone, these retreats are offered on a dana/donation basis. 'Dana,' a Pali term translated as "generosity" in English, embodies the exchange of energy between a teacher and community through the act of giving and receiving.
The suggested dana or donation for these retreats is $35, however, individuals are encouraged to donate according to their own personal preferences and financial situation. No one will be turned away due to a lack of funds.
